Caroline Winberg Biography
Posted on Aug 16, 2006 Under All Supermodel Biographies, Caroline Winberg, Swedish Supermodels |Caroline Winberg (b. March 27, 1985 in Sweden) is a Swedish supermodel.
At the age of 17 she gained sudden fame, not for appearing in a well-known campaign or fashion show, but for a scandal involving herself and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. She claimed that the singer, who was 59 at the time, had been harassing her with phone calls after seeing her on the runway. Her parents, Thomas and Camila, even asked Jagger to leave their daughter in peace. The singer denied any such phone calls.
Scandals aside, Caroline is an accomplished model. She can be seen in campaigns for Valentino, Chloé, Versace, Victoria’s Secret, and Neiman Marcus and has graced the covers of Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, and (twice) German Vogue.
She currently lives in New York and is friends with fellow models Marija Vujovic and Gemma Ward.
